As the weekend approaches, it’s time to start planning how you’ll make the most of your time off.
Whether you’re into outdoor adventures, cultural experiences or simply relaxing with some live entertainment, there are plenty of exciting events happening in and around the city this weekend.
Here’s a rundown of some not-to-miss activities to add to your calendar:
Festival of Trees, Lodi

“Suessical the Musical” follows the adventures of two of Dr. Seuss’ most well-known and beloved characters: the Cat in the Hat and Horton (of “Horton Hears a Who” fame).
Performances run through Dec. 15, with shows Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. There also are Saturday matinees this weekend and next at 1 p.m.
