One man was killed and another was injured after being shot in Stockton’s Park District early Saturday morning.
The victims, a 30-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, were in the 3100 block of East Main Street when they were shot at 12:19 a.m., according to the Stockton Police Department.
Both were taken to a hospital, but the 30-year-old man died from his injuries.
The investigation continues, and no arrests have been made.
The have been 25 homicides in the city this year, compared to 34 at this time in 2024. Last year’s total homicide count was 54.
