STOCKTON — Dozens of veterans and community members gathered at the Weberstown Mall for a ceremony presented by American Legion Karl Ross Post 16.

The program involved an invocation, the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem and remarks from a variety of speakers including U.S. Marine veteran Marvin Hernandez-Garcia, Councilmember Michael Blower and Former Mayor of Stockton Kevin Lincoln.

“We’re all committed to a life of service and that is something that should bind us together,” Lincoln said.
