A 24-year-old man died over the weekend after being struck by a train in north Stockton, police said.

Officers responded to the railroad tracks near Hammer Lane and Lorraine Avenue shortly after 5:40 p.m. Sunday over a report of a collision. They found the man, who was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
