A patriotic parade marches through Downtown Stockton:
The Fourth of July event drew more than 80 entries
A clear morning sun welcomed the Fourth of July holiday to Stockton, making it a great day for a parade.
The Stockton Independence Day event, which first took place 159 years ago, made it’s way through part of downtown on July 4. The parade had more than 80 entries and featured floats, boats, politicians, marching drum and bugle corps, veterans groups and first responders.
After the morning parade, a a Fourth of July Fest was held at Weber Point Events Center.
