STOCKTON — Hundreds of students, alumni and community members sluiced along Pacific Avenue for the University of the Pacific’s “Tigers Prowlin The Mile” event.

Businesses offered deals, a giant slide and Ferris wheel drew crowds in the street, and two DJs played music to create an upbeat vibe.
