STOCKTON— The Fair Oaks library had an unusual visitor this week, but they were welcomed with open wings. Boston, a one and a half year-old turkey, was the star of the Harvest Home Animal Story Time event.

Readers of all ages were encouraged to pick up a book and practice with Boston. 

Boston resides at the Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary, a group that rescues and cares for a variety of animals from pigs to ducks. More information can be found on their efforts at https://harvesthomesanctuary.org/.
