From duck races and Latin grooves to spooky pop-ups and dirt-fueled sprints, Stockton’s weekend events offer something for everyone. Whether you’re kicking back with live music, shopping small or cheering in the stands, there’s no shortage of ways to spend your time.

Ducky Derby and Summerfest at Lincoln Center
Date: Friday, Aug. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Location: Lincoln Center, 374 Lincoln Center, Stockton
The Child Abuse Prevention Council celebrates 11 years of the Ducky Derby during Lincoln Center’s Summerfest. Expect duck races, splashy games, giant slides and live music from Popular Demand at the stage near Squeeze Burger. Admission is free and duck adoptions help fund child abuse prevention efforts.


Latin, R&B and Blues Festival
Date: Saturday, Aug. 16 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Location: Weber Point Events Center, 221 N. Center St., Stockton
This all-day music festival features live performances, local vendors and food with sounds ranging from Latin to soul blues. Seniors and veterans receive discounted admission. Kids under 12 get in free.


Summerween with Small Businesses
Date: Saturday, Aug. 16 from 1 to 6 p.m.
Location: The Cove and Hat Hub Y Mas, 1588 E. March Lane, Stockton
Shop local and beat the heat at this free indoor Halloween-themed pop-up featuring vendor discounts, a spooky photo booth and themed nonalcoholic drinks.


Delta Speedway Races
Date: Saturday, Aug. 16
Location: San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, 1658 S. Airport Way, Stockton
Catch micro sprint racing action on the dirt at this family-friendly track. General admission is $10, seniors and children 6–12 are $5, and kids under 5 are free. Pit passes are $25.


Pacific women’s soccer vs. UC Davis
Date: Sunday, Aug. 17 at 7 p.m.
Location: Knoles Field, University of the Pacific, 3601 Pacific Ave., Stockton
The Pacific Tigers host UC Davis in this early-season NCAA Division I matchup. Admission is free and fans are encouraged to come out and support local collegiate athletics.
