From a family-favorite pumpkin maze to international film screenings, restored naval vessels and heritage celebrations, this weekend in San Joaquin County offers a mix of culture, history and Halloween-themed fun. Here’s what’s happening from Oct. 10 to Oct. 12:

Pumpkin Maze at Dell’Osso Family Farm
Oct. 8–31 | Dell’Osso Family Farm, 501 S. Manthey Road, Lathrop

The annual Pumpkin Maze at Dell’Osso Family Farm continues through Halloween with dozens of attractions included in general admission. Families can enjoy pig races, corn mazes, a haunted castle, miniature golf, obstacle courses, the Dell’Osso Express Train and more.

New this year are two pedal car speedways, an expanded Kiddie Land and a Halloween costume shop. Food, merchandise and several premium attractions — including the pumpkin blasters, vintage carousel and pony rides — are available for an extra charge.

Hours are noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with attractions closing by 8 or 8:30 p.m. Parking is free. Dogs are allowed with restrictions.

Tickets must be purchased in person on the day of your visit at the main booth. No advance online sales.


CIFFA Film Festival
Oct. 10–12 | Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 N. Central Ave., Tracy

The Crossover International Festival of Film and Art (CIFFA) returns to Tracy for three days of screenings, performances and global storytelling. CIFFA aims to spotlight underrepresented creators by offering guaranteed distribution opportunities and celebrating boundary-pushing formats like AI-generated films, web series and immersive shorts.

Screenings and performances will take place at the Eleni Kounalakis Theatre. The festival runs Friday from 5:30 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.

Tickets are $34 per day or $87 for a three-day pass. CIFFA is co-presented by the City of Tracy and One World Arts Foundation.


Annual San Joaquin County Tractor Fest
Oct. 11 | 9 a.m.–2 p.m. | San Joaquin County Historical Museum, Lodi

The fifth annual Tractor Fest showcases San Joaquin County’s farming heritage with classic tractor displays, hands-on activities, food trucks and a tractor parade at 11:30 a.m. Hosted in partnership with the San Joaquin County Farm Bureau, the event also features ag education booths from 4-H, FFA and other local organizations.

Food vendors include Ty’s Gourmet Dogs, La Bamba Mexican Food, Odyssey Coffee and Michael’s Heavenly Sweets. A mini pumpkin patch by Dogtown Pumpkins adds to the fall atmosphere.

Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and military, $5 for youth 6–17, and free for kids under 5. Parking is $6 at Micke Grove Park.


USS Lucid Fall Open House
Oct. 11 | 10 a.m.–4 p.m. | 3100 Monte Diablo Ave., Stockton

The Stockton Maritime Museum hosts an open house aboard the USS Lucid, a restored Cold War-era Navy minesweeper docked at Stockton’s inland port. Visitors can tour the ship, learn its history from veterans and volunteers, and shop for merch in the museum’s gift area.

Admission is a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for children. Entry closes at 3:30 p.m., and guests are invited to gather on the ship’s fantail after the tour to share stories and enjoy refreshments.


Fiesta de Cultura: Hispanic Heritage Night
Oct. 12 | 1–6 p.m. | University Plaza Waterfront Hotel, Stockton

Celebrate Hispanic heritage with live music, cultural performances and local Latin-owned vendors at the Fiesta de Cultura. The event will feature traditional dancers and Latin Magic, a high-energy music group known for blending styles and rhythms.

Admission is $20, and a portion of proceeds will benefit the Delta Humane Society. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
