As August winds down, the calendar remains full across Stockton. Community traditions continue, University of the Pacific athletics return for a new season and local venues welcome everything from live theater to concerts, festivals and family events. Here are a few events happening Aug. 20-23.

The Haggin Museum's First & Third Thursday series continues with A Touch of Music, featuring live performances by Richard Aguilera, Peter Castanon, Jorge Sagun and David Falcon. Guests can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine before the concert while exploring the museum during an evening hosted by the Junior Women's Group.
The Pacific Tigers open their home schedule against Nevada at Knoles Field. Admission is free as the Tigers begin another NCAA Division I women's soccer season in front of their home crowd.
The Catalyst Theatre Co. presents James McLure's companion plays "Lone Star" and "Laundry and Bourbon." The production brings the two one-act comedies to Stockton for a three-performance run intended for mature audiences.
Lincoln Center hosts SummerFest with live music, local dining, family activities and a 100-foot fun slide. The annual event also features carnival games benefiting the Child Abuse Prevention Council alongside shopping and entertainment throughout the evening.
Miracle Mile welcomes University of the Pacific students back to Stockton with an evening of shopping, dining, live entertainment and family activities. The annual celebration invites students, alumni, neighbors and visitors to explore the district while kicking off a new academic year.
Boots on the Ground returns to Weber Point with a full day of southern soul music, dancing, food vendors and live performances. Headliner 803 Fresh joins a lineup of entertainers for the outdoor festival along Stockton's downtown waterfront.
Kommunity Hub NorCal hosts an evening celebrating the cultures of the Pacific Islands and Oceania through food, live performances and educational presentations. Guests can enjoy cultural demonstrations while learning about the history and traditions of Pacific Island communities.
Magician and comedian Justin Willman brings his One for the Ages Tour to the Bob Hope Theatre. Known for Netflix's "Magic for Humans," Willman combines sleight-of-hand, audience participation and comedy in an interactive live performance.
Tap That Ash Lounge presents 'Diane Divine One'
Singer-songwriter Diane Divine One opens her Deponere Tour with an intimate performance at Tap That Ash Lounge. The afternoon show includes music inspired by themes of hope, love and perseverance, along with a brunch and a special performance by Cash Campain.
