A Stockton man pleaded guilty last week to illegally dealing firearms and being in possession of machine guns, federal prosecutors said.
Rayshawn Williams, 20, sold ten firearms to a confidential informant between May and July 2024 on the streets for cash, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of California on Aug. 26.
Two guns were Glocks with machine gun conversion devices known as “switches,” which allow the pistols to fire in fully automatic mode.
Williams is expected to be sentenced on Dec. 9. He is facing a maximum sentence of ten years in federal prison on each gun charge and five years for illegal firearms trafficking, plus a fine of $250,000.
