👋 The Lodi Community Foundation received a staggering $30 million donation—the largest in its history—thanks to the late Sheila Wishek, a Lodi native who passed away in January of last year.

The unexpected donation, which more than quadruples the foundation’s assets, will fund local nonprofits and community projects for years to come. Foundation leaders say the gift will allow them to expand their impact, including hiring a CEO and staff to manage new initiatives.

Though Wishek left Lodi decades ago, she remained dedicated to her hometown, frequently visiting and supporting local causes without seeking recognition.
