A busy week is ahead at City Hall.

The Stockton City Council is set to vote on millions in spending aimed at upgrading roads, services and the city’s long-term financial health. Annie Biebl has the breakdown in today’s top story.

In other city government news: Stockton officials said Lathrop City Manager Stephen J. Salvatore is no longer consulting for the city. His $11,000-per-month contract came under scrutiny after a Stocktonia investigation revealed he was hired – without council approval – to advise interim City Manager Steve Colangelo, who had no prior city management experience.
