Bradley, an investigative intern, has done freelance work for Yahoo Finance Phoenix New Times. She also worked as an editorial intern for Times of San Diego, PBS, The Arizona Republic and Phoenix Magazine.

Medina, a recipient of California Press Foundation’s 2025 internship grant, will be reporting on Greater Stockton. Medina has also interned at The Sacramento Bee and Idaho Statesman and has written about local government at The Norwalk Patriot and The Downey Patriot.

A big thank you to our summer intern, Hope Muñoz, who reported on topics ranging from City Hall to Stockton art.

Our interns cover stories that are important to you, and we aim to give them a hands-on experience to help them grow and develop their journalism skills.

Thanks for starting your week with us.
