Good morning, Stockton.

We had a busy week at Stockonia, but I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to our spring interns.
We’re thrilled to welcome Sammy Jimenez, a student at San Joaquin Delta College, and Leah Mesquita, a student at Arizona State University. Read Leah and Sammy’s full bios below.
We’re excited to continue to build our internship program. We believe internships are an investment in the future of the news industry. Our goal is to foster, develop and grow their skills and give them hands-on experiences to hone their craft.
At the same time, our interns help us cover the stories that are important to you – and our community.
As a nonprofit newsroom, we rely on the donations of our readers to help fund our operation, including our paid internship program. Want to support our mission? Please consider donating to our newsroom.
