Good morning, Stockton.

๐ I wanted to highlight some developments in the ongoing legal case against the former county clerk’s arrest.
Former court clerk Pamela Edwards faced numerous hearings over the past few months, but the focus has not been on the crime sheโs accused of committing.
Instead, attorneys continue to debate whether the court should unseal a single document in the case file โ a debate a judge has now signaled will end by Friday.ย
Additionally, Stockton Unified School Board member AngelAnn Flores was indicted by a grand jury on charges of embezzlement and making false insurance claims.
Floresย remainsย on the board, and her attorney hasย called the case political retaliationย for her questions about corruption claims.
We will do our best to keep you updated as both cases progress.
