Good morning, Stockton.

Scott Linesburgh

๐Ÿ‘‹ With the national and local elections behind us, this would be a good weekend to get out and explore what makes our area special.

Here are a couple of suggestions:

On Saturday, the third annual Native American Heritage Month Event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds. There will vendors, resources, speakers, live performers and a Native art exhibition.

On Sunday, the Stockton Youth Orchestra is returning after a four-year absence and playing a free concert at Stagg High School. The 20-student ensemble will take the stage at 5 p.m. at Stagg High School, performing works by Handel, Haydn, Bach and Verdi.

There are plenty of other options. So have a great weekend!
