👋 It’s been a packed week so far – both statewide and right here in Stockton.

The big news: Stockton’s police department is seeing an uptick in hires, according to Chief Stanley McFadden. As of now, the city has 380 officers, including 60 new hires since the beginning of this year, the most since 2018.
