It’s hard to believe I joined Stocktonia just two months ago – and now our news team is growing again.

We’re excited to welcome Annie Barker to Stocktonia in July as our new staff photojournalist through the 2025 CatchLight Local Fellowship, in partnership with Report for America.

This marks a major milestone for our newsroom and community as we invest in visual storytelling that connects, informs and inspires.

We also kicked off our spring fundraising campaign this week, and we hope you’ll support our efforts to continue growing our team and our coverage of Greater Stockton. By investing in Stocktonia, you’re investing in journalism that enriches our community.
