A shoplifting suspect allegedly brandished a knife and fled with merchandise from a store in Stockton’s Lakeview District over the weekend, police said.
A 27-year-old male employee of a store located in the 6400 block of Pacific Avenue confronted a shoplifter when the suspect allegedly brandished a knife inside the business around 4:40 p.m. Saturday, according to police.
The suspect was able to flee the store with some merchandise. The store employee was not injured, police said.
