A 60-year-old man died after being shot in in south Stockton near Interstate 5 on Sunday morning, police said.
Officers responded to Hazelton Avenue and Harrison Street in Stockton’s Seaport District around 8:31 a.m. for a report of a person shot.
They found the man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Stockton Police Department.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. No further details were immediately available.
