Two additional people were injured in Saturday’s mass shooting — raising the victim count to 17, with 13 wounded and four killed, including three children, according to local authorities.

According to sheriff’s spokesperson Heather Brent, the additional victims were at Saturday’s party, which erupted in gunfire shortly before 6 p.m. The two sought medical attention for minor injuries at an area hospital Sunday night.

Of the other hospitalized victims, one remains in critical, but stable, condition, Brent said. Several have been released, she noted.

Four people — three of them children — were killed Saturday evening in the shooting at a north Stockton business, where more than 100 people had gathered to celebrate a 2-year-old’s birthday. The ages of those killed were 8, 9, 14 and 21 years old, officials said.

Authorities have yet to release the names of any victims, but other sources have confirmed that those killed were Amari Peterson, 14; Susano Archuleta, 21; an 8-year-old who was a student in the Stockton Unified School District; and a 9-year-old. According to Brent, the youngest of those struck by gunfire in the attack was 8 and the oldest was 30.

As of Tuesday afternoon, no arrests had been made. Firearms found on the roof of the business — a venue called Monkey Space located at 1943 Lucile Ave. and formerly known as the Kudos Children’s Theatre — are still going through ballistics testing to determine whether they match bullet casings found at the scene, Brent said.

It was not immediately clear when such testing would be complete.

“We’re taking this day by day right now,” Brent told Stocktonia by phone Tuesday afternoon, adding that investigators are going through “a lot of casings” from the area.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office has not released any suspect information to the public. The shooting occurred in an unincorporated pocket of Stockton, which is under the county’s jurisdiction.

Authorities continue to urge those who attended Saturday’s event or anyone else who may have information about the shooting to call the Sheriff’s Office’s non-emergency lineat (209) 468-4400 or Stockton Crime Stoppers at (209) 946-0600. A $25,000 reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the fatal attack.

“Please, just work with our investigators,” Brent said. “Help us find this suspect.”
