The two people who were shot in Stockton’s Seaport District late Saturday afternoon are expected to survive their non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Stockton Police Department.
The 47-year-old man and the 17-year-old boy were in the 700 block of East Jefferson Street in Stockton around 3:35 p.m., according to SPD. The relation between the teenager and the man is not known at this time.
The man and the boy were approached and shot by two hispanic men in their twenties and another boy, Stockton Police said.
The two victims were taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, according to Stockton Police.
No further information was released and no arrests were immediately made, the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
