A 64-year-old man was shot over the weekend in south Stockton and drove himself to a hospital for treatment, police said.

The victim told investigators that around 7:25 p.m. Saturday, he stopped his vehicle in the 600 block of South Union Street in Stockton’s Park District when he heard a gunshot.

He later realized he had been struck and was treated for a non-life-threatening injury after driving himself to the hospital, according to police.

No further information was released.
