Two people are in custody in connection with a homicide that occurred earlier this month in Stockton, police said Tuesday.

On Dec. 14 just before 1:30 a.m., officers arrived in the 300 block of South Wilson Way on a report of a shooting. Two people were discovered shot in the parking lot of a business: a 28-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man. Both were taken to the hospital, but the man succumbed to his injuries and died.

On Dec. 18, detectives arrested Swavette Wilson, 48, on suspicion of the homicide. According to jail records, she is now being held on $300,000 bail on suspicion of being an accessory after the fact.

On Tuesday, police arrested Devon Hardy, 47, in San Leandro and he was transferred to the San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of murder, attempted murder, and first-degree robbery. He is being held without bail, according to jail records.
