A 35-year-old man was arrested this week on suspicion of a fatal stabbing in Stockton in November, police said. 

The stabbing was reported on Nov. 25 at about 3 p.m., when officers found a 31-year-old woman with an apparent stab wound in the area of Lido Circle and Venetian Drive, according to Stockton police. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and her name has not been released.

Investigators eventually identified Parmjeet Singh as the suspected stabber and arrested him Wednesday. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of homicide, police said.

Police have not released any details about what led to the stabbing.
