Another storm system will bring rain starting Monday and will continue through Wednesday morning in San Joaquin County, according to the National Weather Service. 

Dry and warming conditions are expected by Thursday and continuing through the weekend.

“The upcoming storm system will bring additional rain, very-high elevation snow and breezy winds to the area,” according to NWS social media post. “Be sure to watch for slick roads.”

In the Sacramento Valley, the weather service expects an inch of rain.

In Stockton, a slight chance of rain is expected before 9 p.m. on Monday, before a higher chance of rain on Tuesday after 2 p.m. with wind gusts of 21 mph, according to the NWS forecast. 

Wednesday is expected to be mostly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid-60s throughout the week. 

In San Joaquin Valley from Thursday into the weekend the forecast shifts into calmer weather, according to NWS.  

“While a brief foray into cooler and wetter weather is on track tonight into Wednesday, a trend toward warmer and drier weather is looking likely later this week into next weekend,” the NWS wrote in a social media post.
