Spring weekends in San Joaquin County offer a variety of cultural celebrations, family-friendly attractions and live entertainment. Whether you’re in the mood for a Broadway-style performance or looking to explore a Cambodian cultural tradition, there’s something for everyone this weekend in Stockton and Tracy.

San Joaquin Asparagus Festival
San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, 1658 S. Airport Way, Stockton
April 11-13 | Friday-Saturday: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. | Sunday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Admission: $15 adults, $10 youth, seniors and military, free for children 5 and under

The West Coast’s largest asparagus celebration returns with carnival rides, live entertainment, monster truck rides and food specialties, including deep-fried asparagus and asparagus ice cream. Parking is $10 (cash only). Last daily admission is one hour before closing.


NBA G League Finals: Osceola Magic at Stockton Kings
Adventist Health Arena, 248 W. Fremont St., Stockton
Friday, April 11 | 7 p.m.
Tickets: Starting at $16

The Stockton Kings host Game 2 of the NBA G League Finals against the Osceola Magic. With a championship on the line, fans are encouraged to show support and bring the energy to Adventist Health Arena. Tickets are available online and at the arena box office.


The Easter Bunny at Lincoln Center
Lincoln Center, 374 Lincoln Center, Stockton
Saturday, April 12 | Noon-3 p.m.
Admission: Free

Families are invited to visit the Easter Bunny and ride the Chug-A-Bug Train, both free of charge. Guests are encouraged to bring their own cameras for photos. Afterward, enjoy shopping and dining at one of Stockton’s most popular open-air retail centers.


Stockton Ports vs. Rancho Cucamonga Quakes – Asparagus Night
Stockton Ballpark, 404 W. Fremont St., Stockton
Saturday, April 12 | 7:05-9:30 p.m.
Tickets: Starting at $13

The Ports host the Quakes on Asparagus Night, with promotions including Little League Night, postgame fireworks and access to the kids’ play zone. Enjoy a night of minor league baseball along the downtown waterfront.


A Journey Down Broadway
Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 N. Central Ave., Tracy
Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m. | Saturday, April 12 at 4 p.m.
Tickets: $30 (includes $4 ticket fee)

Presented by the Tracy Theater Arts Collaborative, this Broadway-inspired performance takes audiences through musical hits spanning decades. The show blends classic favorites with acoustic numbers and modern themes.


Cambodian New Year Celebration
Wat Dhammararam Buddhist Temple, 3732 E. Carpenter Road, Stockton
April 11-13 | 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. daily
Admission: Free

The annual Cambodian New Year celebration at Wat Dhammararam features cultural performances, traditional food, music and more than 90 jewel-encrusted statues depicting the life of Buddha. Visitors should follow posted temple guidelines, including removing shoes before entering buildings and respecting monks’ customs. Monetary donations are welcome and support ongoing temple renovations.
