This weekend brings a lively mix of events to Stockton, from youth art and community workshops to women’s soccer, family-friendly drag and a telescope-filled night under the stars.

Lincoln High School Presents: High School Musical
Dates: June 27 & 28 at 7 p.m. | June 29 at 2:30 p.m.
Location: Lincoln High School Performing Arts Center, 6844 Alexandria Pl., Stockton
Lincoln High’s summer production of High School Musical brings teen drama, friendship and catchy songs to the stage. Doors open 30 minutes before each show. Tickets are $12, or $6 with a Lincoln Unified ID (cash only).


Astronomy in the Park
Date: Saturday, June 28 starting at sunset
Location: Oak Grove Regional Park, 4520 W. Eight Mile Rd., Stockton
The Stockton Astronomical Society invites the public to a night of free telescope viewing under the stars. The event includes astronomy activities at the Nature Center and guided views of the moon, Mars and M13 star cluster. Park entry is $6 cash per vehicle.


Lead with Purpose: Walk with Pride
Date: Saturday, June 28 from 9 to 10 a.m.
Location: St. John’s Church, 316 N. El Dorado St., Stockton
This morning workshop helps attendees connect with their inner purpose through talks on vision, intentionality, identity and overcoming imposter syndrome. Speakers include Agatha Reed, Ernie, Ivan and Golden. Free to attend.


Youth Art: June 2025 5-Week Program (Final Session)
Date: Saturday, June 28 from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
Location: Stockton Art League Goodwin Gallery, 1902 Pacific Ave., Stockton
The final class in this youth art series for ages 7–11 features hands-on instruction from local artists. The full five-session course is $35. Sponsored by the Stockton Art League and Stockton Arts Commission.


Stockton Cargo vs. San Juan SC
Date: Saturday, June 28 at 7 p.m.
Location: Knoles Field, University of the Pacific, Stockton
Stockton Cargo SC takes on San Juan SC in a home match of the USL W League. Tickets are $15 per carload at the gate or online. Enjoy high-level pre-professional women’s soccer with a hometown crowd.


We Are Family Drag Show
Date: Sunday, June 29 from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Pixie Woods, 3121 Monte Diablo Ave., Stockton
A family-friendly drag show where favorite cartoon characters take center stage. Expect costumes, nostalgia and community pride in a joyful, all-ages environment. Free admission and security on-site.
