Over 100 people turned up to the Good Trouble protest on July 17 in front of San Joaquin Delta College along Pacific Avenue. Many protesters carried signs and called attention to President Donald Trump’s political practices.

“It’s a complete dismantling of our democracy,” Mike Oliver said when asked on his thoughts about the current state of politics. Oliver was also impressed with the turnout despite the event occurring on a weekday during work hours.

A portion of the group later moved to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office at 603 San Juan Ave when word came that twelve individuals were detained earlier in the day at a Home Depot in Sacramento.
