LODI— The World of Wonders Science Museum kicked off October on the first with a “Colorful Creations” event. Participants could make a paper bat and add a straw and string to make it flap its wings.

Other events include Science Storytime, Little Scientists, WOW Wonder Lab, and Sensory-Friendly Morning. Halloween themed events this month include a spider science adventure on Oct. 17, a bubbling witches brew event on Oct. 24, and splatter monsters on Oct. 30.
