Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer and Stockton is celebrating with a vibrant mix of events, from Star Wars Night at the ballpark and cherry picking in Lathrop to music festivals and community remembrance.

Stockton Ports vs. Rancho Cucamonga Quakes – Star Wars Night
Date: Saturday, May 24 at 7:05 p.m.
Location: Stockton Ballpark, 404 W. Fremont St., Stockton
Cheer on the Stockton Ports during one of their most popular theme nights of the season. Star Wars characters, themed activities, and a night of California League baseball await along the waterfront.
Cherries on the Farm – Opening Weekend
Dates: Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Dell’Osso Family Farm, 501 Manthey Road, Lathrop
U-pick cherry season opens at Dell’Osso Family Farm with fresh Coral and Bing cherries, homemade baked goods, and wide-open orchard views. Early arrival is encouraged, as supply is limited.
Midtown Music & Art Fest 2025
Date: Saturday, May 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: Yosemite Street Village, 926 N. Yosemite St., Stockton
Stockton’s first Midtown Music & Art Fest debuts this weekend with live bands, artist booths and a neighborhood celebration in the heart of Yosemite Street Village.
Nick Cannon Presents: MTV Wild ‘N Out Live
Date: Saturday, May 24 at 9 p.m.
Location: Adventist Health Arena, 248 W. Fremont St., Stockton
Comedy, music and freestyle battles take center stage as Nick Cannon and the cast of Wild ‘N Out perform live. Expect rapid-fire punchlines and crowd interaction in this high-energy arena show.
Stockton Cargo vs. California Storm
Date: Sunday, May 25
Location: Knoles Field, University of the Pacific, 3601 Pacific Ave., Stockton
Support Stockton’s women’s soccer team as they take on longtime rivals California Storm in a competitive USL W League match on home turf.
Memorial Day Ceremony
Date: Monday, May 26 at 1 p.m.
Location: Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium, 525 N. Center St., Stockton
Admission: Free
Honor those who gave their lives in service to our country at the city’s annual Memorial Day Ceremony. Hosted by VFW Luneta Post 52, along with the City of Stockton, American Legion Posts 16 and 803 and AMVETS, the event invites residents to reflect and recommit to the values upheld by the fallen.
