Ragtime – The Musical
Dates: July 11 at 7:30 p.m. | July 13 at 2:30 p.m.
Location: Tillie Lewis Theatre, Delta College, 5151 Pacific Ave., Stockton
A sweeping story set in early 20th century New York, Ragtime intertwines the lives of an upper-class mother, a Jewish immigrant and a Harlem musician. This collaborative production by Stockton Civic Theatre, Delta College and University of the Pacific continues through July 20. Tickets range from $14 to $34.
StocktonCon Summer
Dates: July 12–13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: Adventist Health Arena, 248 W. Fremont St., Stockton
Stockton’s biggest pop culture event returns with cosplay contests, celebrity guests, gaming tournaments and hundreds of artists and vendors. A portion of proceeds goes to local charities. Tickets start at $15.
Alicia Villarreal – Donde Todo Comenzó 2.0 U.S. Tour
Date: Saturday, July 12 at 8 p.m.
Location: Bob Hope Theatre, 242 E. Main St., Stockton
Mexican regional music legend Alicia Villarreal brings her powerful voice and beloved hits to the Bob Hope stage. Expect an evening of emotion, energy and nostalgia. Tickets start at $39.50.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone – Friends of the Fox Screening
Date: Sunday, July 13 – Doors open at 1 p.m., movie at 2 p.m.
Location: Bob Hope Theatre, 242 E. Main St., Stockton
Relive the magic of Harry Potter on the big screen. Enjoy pre-show entertainment including a live organ concert before the film. Presented by Friends of the Fox, tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children.
