Tigers Prowlin’ the Mile
Date: Friday, Aug. 22 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Location: Pacific Avenue, between Castle Street and Walnut Street
Celebrate the start of the new school year with University of the Pacific at this community block party. Ride the Ferris wheel, enjoy live music and explore shops, food and entertainment along Stockton’s historic Miracle Mile. All ages welcome.


Family Night Live at Octavio’s
Date: Friday, Aug. 22 from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
Location: Octavio’s, 3201 W. Ben Holt Drive, Suite 155
Bring the whole family to this once-a-month patio party. Expect live music, dancing, games, a taco bar and kids’ activities. Adults are $23, kids 6–12 are $12. Taco bar included in admission.


Races at the Stockton 99 Speedway
Date: Saturday, Aug. 23
Location: 4105 N. Wilson Way
Stockton’s fastest quarter-mile track roars back into action. General admission is $20, seniors and youth 11–15 are $15, and kids 10 and under are free. Check the speedway’s website for pit pass pricing and special event info.


Sacred Secret Sound Bath
Date: Saturday, Aug. 23 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Location: Salt and Sage Wellness Studio, 8909 Thornton Road, Suite 2
This wellness session includes guided breathwork, Reiki-infused sound healing, cacao ceremony, self-massage and an affirmation canvas. Tickets are $33 per person. Space is limited.


1st Annual Jerk Summer Splash
Date: Sunday, Aug. 24 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Location: San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, 1658 S. Airport Way
Celebrate Caribbean culture with Jamaican food, music, DJs and performances by artists like Mr. Easy and McNuffy. General admission is $35, VIP tickets are $75, and parking is $10.
