From night markets and nonprofit fundraisers to baseball, film and community runs, the third weekend of April brings a wide range of events across Stockton and the surrounding region. Here’s a look at what’s happening April 17–19.

Friday Night Market
The Friday Night Market returns to the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, with live music, food trucks, local vendors and a beer garden. The family-friendly event offers shopping and entertainment in an open-air setting.
The Community Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired hosts Tacos and Tequila to benefit the Ron Valverde Scholarship, supporting youth with blindness or low vision. The fundraiser includes tacos, sides, beverages, a silent auction and raffle prizes.
The Grand Theatre Center for the Arts hosts a free screening of the documentary “Common Ground,” presented with the Tracy Earth Project. The film explores regenerative agriculture and environmental sustainability. Opening remarks will be delivered by Assemblymember Rhodesia Ransom.
The Stockton Ports host the Lake Elsinore Storm at Stockton Ballpark for Disabilities Awareness Night. The game features a Nick Kurtz replica jersey giveaway presented by Valley Strong Credit Union. Fans can enjoy waterfront views and ballpark concessions.
The annual Stockton Earth Day Festival takes place at Victory Park, featuring environmental exhibits, arts and crafts, live entertainment and local food vendors. The theme is “Our Power, Our Planet.” The event encourages community engagement around sustainability and environmental awareness.
Annual Sikh Parade & Festival
The Stockton Sikh Temple hosts its annual parade and festival, drawing thousands to celebrate Sikh traditions and community service. The Nagar Kirtan parade features devotional hymns and returns to the temple grounds for continued festivities.
