From a centennial museum exhibition and cherry-picking in Lodi, to monster trucks, comic conventions and Mother’s Day events, the second weekend of May offers a wide mix of activities in Stockton and across the region.
Here’s a look at what’s happening May 8-10.

The Haggin Museum hosts a special centennial exhibition honoring 100 years of the Stockton Symphony. The exhibit highlights the orchestra’s history, community impact and milestone performances through archival materials and photographs. Public hours are 1:30-5 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays, noon-5 p.m. Saturdays-Sundays, and 1:30-9 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays. Last admission is at 4:45 p.m.
Lodi Blooms hosts its seasonal Cherry U-pick, with free entry and parking. Guests can pick cherries priced at $6.50 per pound. Tours and early access run 7-8 a.m., followed by general picking 8 a.m.-2 p.m. The orchard will remain open weekends until cherries sell out.
Monster Truck Madness returns to the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds Dirt Track, featuring monster truck rides and 209 Speedway Karters. Two shows are scheduled with a pit party that's included with paid admission, offering meet-and-greet opportunities and photos. Monster truck rides are available for an additional fee. Parking is cash only.
Lodi Comic Con Spring returns to the Lodi Grape Festival Grounds for two days of artists, exhibitors and pop culture vendors. The family-friendly event features more than 40,000 square feet of booths, collectibles and guest appearances.
360 Allstars brings a blend of BMX, basketball, breakdancing, acrobatics and live music to the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts as part of its world tour. The performance features world champion and record-holding athletes in a production that combines street culture with circus-style staging.
Kings Card Club hosts a Mother’s Day brunch featuring a menu that includes smoked salmon crepes and chicken and Belgian waffles. The event offers a relaxed setting for families celebrating the holiday.
Whether you’re exploring local history at the museum, heading to the orchard, catching live entertainment or celebrating Mother’s Day, the weekend offers a variety of ways to get out and connect with the community.
