Mid-May brings a mix of remembrance, family entertainment and live sports to Stockton and the surrounding region.
From a traveling Vietnam Wall and minor league baseball to dance performances, racing and the circus, here’s what’s happening May 15–17.

The Vietnam Moving Wall, a half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., is on display at Weber Point Events Center. More than 58,000 names are engraved on the wall honoring servicemembers who died between 1959 and 1978. A special ceremony is scheduled for May 16 and a closing ceremony on May 18. Volunteers will read the names daily from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. The exhibit is open to the public and accessible 24 hours during the display dates.
The Stockton Ports host the Inland Empire 66ers at Banner Island Ballpark for Local Heroes Night, presented by San Joaquin General Hospital. The game features themed promotions, including Racecar Night, Touch a Truck and a sling bag giveaway. Fans can enjoy waterfront views, ballpark concessions and family-friendly activities during the regular-season matchup.
Friday Night Market
The Friday Night Market returns to the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, with live music, food trucks, vendors and a beer garden. The free event offers a community gathering space with shopping and entertainment.
The Children’s Dance Theatre presents “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts. The family-friendly dance production brings the classic story to life through choreography, music and colorful staging.
Marinelli Bros. Circus brings its one-ring show to the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, featuring acrobatics, aerial acts and family entertainment. Performances run on select dates, with multiple showtimes throughout the engagement. No performance is scheduled May 19.
Delta Speedway hosts micro sprint racing at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds' dirt oval. Divisions include Junior Sprint, Restricted, Non-Wing and Super 600 classes during the 2026 racing season.
