Empowering Marginalized Asian Communities hosts a fundraising barbecue cook-off celebrating Southeast Asian culture and community. Attendees can sample barbecue stick entries, vote for favorites and learn more about the organization’s advocacy work. Admission includes barbecue tastings and rice. The event supports programs focused on immigrant rights and community development in San Joaquin County.

Local and regional fighters take the ring for an evening of boxing at Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium. The card features multiple bouts throughout the night, with doors opening before the first fight begins.
