The warming of the weather brought with it the return of StocktonCon to the Adventist Health Arena on Saturday — the event’s second session of the year.

Now in its 14th year, the convention allowed the San Joaquin Valley’s fandom communities to shop around the arena for not just comics but toys or action figures:

Like any good pop culture convention, though, this one was also an opportunity for local fans to show off their cosplay skills:

The summer session’s slate of guests included TV and stars of yesteryear like Karyn Parsons of “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” fame, Larry Wilcox from “C.Hi.P.S,” and Efren Ramirez of “Napoleon Dynamite,” among others but also pro wrestling legend Mick Foley, fresh off his new contract with All Elite Wrestling:

The action stretched beyond the arena floor — outside, Supreme Pro Wrestling out of Elk Grove hosted live matches while attendees could indulge in card and video gaming in the lobby.

The event concludes on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a kid’s costume contest scheduled for 4 p.m. Besides the open activities, the show will also feature a 12:30 p.m. spotlight panel on David Yost from “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” and an “Invader Zim” panel at 2 p.m. featuring the series’ creator Jhonen Vasquez. Tickets cost $25.
