Several weekly staples and annual events return to the region this week.
Visit a longtime farmers market or a community block party. Take in a Minor League Baseball game, or check out local arts programming. Whatever you do, there are plenty of ways to enjoy our community.

The Lodi certified farmers market continues its seasonal run in downtown every Thursday through Aug. 27. The weekly market has become a summertime tradition, connecting local growers, artisans and small businesses with residents and visitors. Vendors offer fresh produce grown throughout San Joaquin County alongside handmade goods and prepared foods. Live music adds to the atmosphere, as restaurants and nearby shops remain open throughout the evening. Dogs are not permitted.
The Haggin Museum continues its First and Third Thursday evening series with a performance by Stockton musician Alex Reyes. A saxophonist, pianist and educator, Reyes teaches at American River College and San Joaquin Delta College and has performed at jazz festivals throughout California. Complimentary wine will be available beginning at 6:30 p.m., and museum galleries remain open until 9 p.m.
The Stockton Ports continue their July homestand Friday when they host the San Jose Giants at Stockton Ballpark. The game features a Christmas in July promotion, with bucket hats available while supplies last. The Ports, one of the oldest franchises in Minor League Baseball, have played in Stockton for more than 80 seasons and remain a longtime summer tradition along the downtown waterfront.
University Plaza Waterfront Hotel hosts a Saturday morning wellness event that combines an outdoor pilates class with music and breakfast overlooking the waterfront. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, towel and water bottle for the one-hour workout. After class, guests may purchase breakfast from the hotel restaurant and spend time in the courtyard.
Pixie Woods hosts the 11th annual community block party organized by the San Joaquin County Department of Child Support Services. The free event encourages families to connect with local organizations while enjoying activities throughout the park. Parents who register in advance can receive backpacks filled with school supplies, while quantities last. Organizers will also offer prize drawings during the afternoon.
Binge Vietnamese Fusion hosts a late-night gathering Friday featuring guest DJs and house music. The restaurant will offer a special late-night menu along with happy hour drink specials during the event. Admission is free, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
