Summer continues with another full weekend of events across Stockton and San Joaquin County. Longtime traditions return, community organizations host annual gatherings and local venues welcome visitors for another busy stretch of August.

Downtown Lodi's Certified Farmers Market continues its summer season with local produce, handmade goods, artisan vendors and live music. Visitors can shop fresh fruits and vegetables, browse local businesses and enjoy a relaxed evening in the heart of downtown.
The Stockton Ports continue their homestand with a matchup against the Visalia Rawhide at Stockton Ballpark. Fans can enjoy another evening of California League baseball while cheering on the hometown team in downtown Stockton.
The José M. Hernández Reaching for the Stars Foundation celebrates its 20th anniversary with an evening honoring student achievement and raising money for scholarships and educational programs. The gala features NASA astronauts Ellen Ochoa and José M. Hernández while recognizing college students pursuing STEAAM degrees.
Barrio Fiesta returns to downtown Stockton after a hiatus, celebrating Filipino culture, history and community. The free festival features traditional food, entertainment, cultural performances and opportunities to learn more about the legacy of Stockton's Little Manila.
Hospice of San Joaquin's annual Sip & Stroll invites guests to enjoy an evening of local wine, food and live music while strolling through the Brookside Classics neighborhood. Proceeds support Hospice House and its programs serving patients and families throughout the community.
Expression Session: Decor Journals
The Stockton Art League Goodwin Gallery welcomes artists of all experience levels for a free community art session. Participants can decorate journals using gallery supplies or bring their own materials while spending an afternoon creating with others.
Legendary Mexican rock band El Tri brings its Adicto al Rocanrol USA Tour 2026 to the Bob Hope Theatre. Led by Alex Lora, the band performs many of its best-known rock en español hits during its North American tour.
