As summer nears its end, Stockton’s events calendar isn’t slowing down.

New art exhibitions are opening, community traditions return and live entertainment is filling venues across the city.

The Horton Art Gallery at San Joaquin Delta College opens the latest edition of Visions in Clay, the San Joaquin Valley's largest ceramics exhibition. The annual showcase features works from artists across the country, including Delta College alumni, while also highlighting the legacy of renowned ceramic artist and Delta alumna Viola Frey. The exhibition remains on display through Oct. 2.

The eighth annual Tequila Festival returns to Weber Point Events Center with tequila tastings, handcrafted margaritas, live entertainment and local food vendors. 17th annual Stockton Bathtub Boat Race

The Stockton Bathtub Boat Race returns to Louis Park Boat Launch for another afternoon of homemade watercraft racing. Participants compete in creative, nonmotorized boats while spectators cheer them on during one of Stockton's most unique annual traditions.
