September has a different feel in Stockton. The return of the Greek Food Festival marks the beginning of a stretch when many of the area’s biggest annual traditions make their way back onto the calendar.
Alongside those familiar favorites, this weekend offers a mix of new performances and returning events worth checking out.

One of Stockton's longest-running community traditions returns for its 67th year. Visitors can enjoy homemade Greek dishes, pastries, live music and traditional folk dancing while exploring the church's marketplace and family activities. The festival has welcomed generations of families and remains one of the city's signature September events.
Stockton Civic Theatre continues its production of Bonnie & Clyde, a musical based on the infamous outlaw couple whose story unfolded during the Great Depression. The show blends rockabilly music with sweeping ballads as Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow chase fame and fortune while outrunning the law. The production continues through Sept. 27.
Style Elements Crew celebrates its 32nd anniversary by bringing dancers, DJs and hip-hop artists from around the world to Stockton. The two-day event includes breaking competitions, workshops, panel discussions and performances while honoring the culture and history of hip-hop.
Award-winning comedian Ali Siddiq stops in Stockton as part of his international Custom Fit Tour. Known for turning personal experiences into memorable stories, Siddiq has built a national following through his stand-up specials and live performances.
Weber Point Events Center hosts the fourth annual Jazz on the Water festival with headliner Leela James leading a day of live performances along the downtown waterfront. Several contemporary jazz artists will also take the stage throughout the afternoon.
Mid-Autumn Festival
The Chinese Benevolent Association, Chinese Cultural Society of Stockton and Jene Wah Inc. invite the community to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival in downtown Stockton. Visitors can watch lion dancers, tour the Chinese museum and learn more about Chinese culture during the free afternoon event.
The Haggin Museum's monthly family program invites children to paint Gold Rush-inspired story stones before trying their hand at gold panning. The activities connect art, science and California history through interactive projects designed for younger visitors.
Gospel on the Water Festival returns to Weber Point Events Center with an afternoon of live gospel music along Stockton's downtown waterfront. Headliners Le'Andria Johnson, Beverly Crawford and Zacardi Cortez lead a lineup of nationally recognized performers during the daylong celebration of faith and music.
