Good morning, Stockton.

👋 After a stretch of sunny skies and warm temperatures, Stockton is set to return to wet weather this weekend.
Residents can expect one more pleasant day today, with highs reaching 70 degrees, before rain moves in later tonight. The National Weather Service forecasts a 30% chance of showers beginning after 10 p.m., increasing to 70% on Sunday, with thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Cooler temperatures will accompany the storm system, with Sunday’s high dropping to just 59 degrees.
The upcoming rain could provide a welcome boost to Stockton’s seasonal totals, which remain below average despite early February storms. Since Oct. 1, the city has received 7.91 inches of rain— less than the 9.59-inch average for this time of year.
