👋 Two Stockton truck drivers were arrested in New Jersey last month after state troopers discovered they were hauling more than 10 tons of marijuana and related products, along with psilocybin.
The massive drug bust took place during a routine commercial vehicle inspection on Interstate 78 East in Greenwich Township, where authorities uncovered four tons of raw hydroponic marijuana, six tons of THC-infused products, and over 13 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms.
Despite New Jersey’s legalization of small amounts of marijuana, large-scale commercial transport remains illegal. Authorities estimate the seized cargo had a street value of $36 million.
