Good morning, Stockton.

Scott Linesburgh

👋 It’s been an exciting week so far – and it’s not even over yet.

One highlight: On Wednesday, some of our team from Stocktonia attended the United Way’s Power of One, The Future is Bright event at the University Plaza Waterfront Hotel.

It was a packed house. The event had a ‘70s vibe, and I was grooving to the music, which reminded me of my childhood.

The crowd also got to hear from Nicole Carroll, who moderated a panel of leaders from cities in San Joaquin County. Nicole is the executive director of NEWSWELL, which acquired Stocktonia earlier this year.

The event showed the power of Stockton nonprofits. We gladly support the efforts of the United Way, and we encourage you to as well.

On the news side, we have more election updates as Republican David Valadao and Democrat George Whitesides win the races to represent California in the U.S. House.

We’ll have more updates soon. We appreciate your support.
