One of the city’s top police leaders is receiving statewide recognition.
Stockton Police Deputy Chief Anabel Morris has been named 2026 Woman of the Year by state Sen. Jerry McNerney, who praised her decades of service and leadership in the department. Andrea Baltodano shares why Morris was selected and what the honor means to those who have worked alongside her.
Also, state officials confirmed Legionella bacteria was found at a government office in Lodi, prompting health concerns at the building while investigators work to determine the source.
