Two people were struck by gunfire among seven shot at Sunday night in Stockton in a drive-by shooting, police said.
At 8:43 p.m. police were told that two men, a woman, and a child were shot at while getting into a vehicle in the 300 block of Burkett Avenue, near Sousa Park.
A 16-year-old boy and a 30-year-old woman were injured during the shooting, but are expected to survive, according to police.
They were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police said the shooters continued to drive in the area and shot at three more people, but no other injuries were reported.
A motive for the shooting was not immediately available.
