An 18-year-old man died early Sunday morning following a shooting in Stockton.
Police said officers responded at 2:35 a.m. to state Highway 4 and South Wilson Way on reports of a person shot.
Officers found a man who was shot and transported him to a hospital. Police said he later died from his injuries.
Detectives said preliminary information led them to believe that the shooting occurred in the area of Main Street and Rendon Avenue at about 2:30 a.m.
No suspect information or motive has been released in the case.
