Police in Stockton have arrested a man suspected in the March shooting death of a teen, the department said Monday.
On March 24 just before 9 p.m., officers were sent to the 8100 block of Palisades Drive on a report of a person shot. Police discovered a 16-year-old boy suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Marshawn Black, 23, was identified as a suspect in the case and a warrant was drawn up for his arrest.
Last Thursday, Black was contacted by BART Police and was taken into custody for the warrant. He was then arrested in connection to the homicide, according to police.
